Job Synopsis
As an PayFac Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships with PayFac and Card Not Present Integrated Software Vendors (ISV) to grow and monetize Nuvei partnership portfolio. 


Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Proven track record of success signing PayFac and CNP ISV partnerships that delivered revenue growth.
  • This PayFac/CNP ISV Sales Executive will need to align prospects' vision and requirements with Nuvei solutions to deliver differentiated partner value. As a partner strategy advisor to the partner, this individual must have an in-depth understanding of the partner's business, goals, and strategies, as well as industry trends and directions.
  • Conduct regular communication with prospective partners, across market verticals to drive Nuvei partnership consideration.
  • Manage multiple opportunities, concurrently, through various stages of the selling cycle; identify, execute and close qualified new business partnerships.
  • Understand qualified prospect pipeline, forecasting, and revenue projections.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a virtual team setting to coordinate the appropriate resources to meet varying partner requirements. This will include product managers, sales engineers and implementation/customer service resources.

Job Requirements

Functional Proficiencies

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate individual sales performance meeting or exceeding assigned quota.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development roles in the payment industry.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of technical and financial consultative solution selling. Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships with decision makers in the software industry.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Background in credit card processing, merchant acquiring, and/or alternative payment is required.
  • Established list of contacts in the PayFac space.
  • Experience with hunting PayFac and integrated software solutions are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Travel required: Approximately 30%
